C5 1201 Oil Burner Idaho Division
This locomotive was built in April 1912 in the Chicago, Milwaukee and St Paul Railway shops, originally numbered 402. The consolodation C Class 2-8-0 was one of three major locomotive classes in use by the Chicago, Milwaukee & Puget Sound Railway in 1910.

This train at Pocono along the St. Joe River, possibly the Columbian, is heading upriver toward Avery circa 1912. It is pulled likely by a Pacific F Class 4-6-2 locomotive, some of which were built as early as 1910.
